How Loads For Africa Works, and Where You Save
Shippers get competing quotes from checked hauliers. Hauliers fill empty trucks and get paid securely. Here is the whole process on one page.

| Step | If you ship cargo | If you haul cargo |
|---|---|---|
| 1 Register | Create an account, verify your email and add your company details. | Create an account, add your trucks, and upload your licence disks and insurance. |
| 2 Post or find | Post a load: route, cargo, weight, collection date and the truck type you need. | Browse the Load Board, or let an email alert tell you when a matching load appears. |
| 3 Quote and compare | Receive quotes from hauliers and compare the price, the truck and each haulier's message. | Send a quote with your price, a truck and a short message. Revise or withdraw it while it is pending. |
| 4 Award and move | Accept the quote you prefer. Collection and delivery details go to the haulier's assigned driver. | Assign a driver to the job. They see the addresses, contacts and a map link for the route. |
| 5 Pay | Pay the agreed price into escrow (Coming soon). It is held until the load is delivered. | When the shipper accepts delivery you are paid the full agreed price from escrow (Coming soon). Our platform fee is paid by the shipper. |
Less cost and less hassle for both sides
If you ship cargo
- Hauliers compete for your load. Several checked hauliers can quote, so the price comes from competition, not from one phone call.
- You deal directly with the haulier. No middleman in between. The platform charges one fixed percentage, and there is a payment processing fee. Both are shown before you pay.
- Less time chasing. Quotes arrive in one place and are easy to compare, instead of scattered across calls and messages.
- You pay for delivered work. Your payment is held in escrow (Coming soon) until the load is delivered.
- You know who is driving. Company documents, insurance and licence disks are reviewed by our team.
If you haul cargo
- Fewer empty kilometres. Find a load for the return leg, so a trip home earns money instead of only costing fuel and driver time.
- Less time searching. The "Matches my fleet" filter and email alerts bring suitable loads to you.
- Your price, no broker cut. You quote the shipper directly and are paid the full agreed price. The platform fee is paid by the shipper.
- Faster, safer payment. With escrow (Coming soon) the money is in place before you move the load, instead of waiting on long debtor terms.
- One place to run the fleet. Trucks, drivers, documents and insurance, with each driver seeing only their own jobs.
The empty return leg
A truck that delivers in Durban and drives home to Johannesburg empty still pays for the fuel, the tolls and the driver on the way back.
A load on that return leg turns a cost already being paid into income. The shipper benefits too: a haulier who is going that way anyway can quote competitively.

Checked hauliers
Company documents, Goods-in-Transit insurance and truck licence disks are reviewed by our team, and expired road worthy disks pause a truck automatically.
Private by design
Hauliers browsing the Load Board see cities, not street addresses. Exact addresses and contacts go only to the shipper and the assigned driver.
Protected payments
Escrow (Coming soon) holds the agreed price until the load is delivered, so neither side carries the other's risk.
