Cookie Policy & Electronic Tracking Technologies Notice
How Loads For Africa utilizes HTTP session cookies, browser LocalStorage, cryptographic nonces, and API telemetry tokens to facilitate real-time freight dispatching, fraud prevention, and statutory compliance across the Southern African Development Community (SADC) transport network.
Scope & South African Statutory Framework
Loads For Africa (Pty) Ltd ("LFA", "we", "us") operates an enterprise digital freight brokerage and corridor liquidity exchange. Unlike passive consumer websites, freight brokerage networks execute legally binding road haulage charters, escrow payments, and hazardous material manifests requiring unbroken transactional provenance.
In accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, No. 4 of 2013 (POPIA), specifically Conditions 6, 7, and 8 regarding Security Safeguards and Openness, and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, No. 25 of 2002 (ECTA) Section 15 on evidentiary admissibility of electronic data messages, our system utilizes stateful client identifiers to verify authorized carrier dispatches, prevent cross-site request forgery (CSRF), and fulfill South African National Treasury anti-money laundering records obligations.

Telematics, Weighbridge Feeds & Hardware Tokens
A fundamental distinction exists between HTTP browser cookies detailed above and carrier telematics integrations operating within the Loads For Africa dispatch ecosystem.
Confined entirely to the user's local web browser application (Chrome, Safari, Edge). Manages portal login states, interface layouts, and bidding forms. Does not access mobile hardware telemetry or truck GPS coordinate streams.
Direct fleet management protocol integrations (e.g., Geotab, MiX Telematics, Cartrack, SANRAL weighbridge relays). Governed separately under the Master Carrier Agreement (MCA). These API keys are transmitted via mutual TLS and do not reside in browser cookies.
Granular Cookie Preference Center
Control how non-essential telemetry and analytics cookies are handled on this workstation.
Required for core cryptographic integrity, carrier login preservation, session nonces, and binding freight consignments. Cannot be disabled without rendering the broker portal unusable.
Mitigates phantom truck listings, hijacked carrier identities, and automated freight auction manipulation per South African cybercrime regulations.
Permits anonymized statistical evaluation of load search velocity, edge connection speeds along remote corridors (e.g., Karoo, Kalahari), and UI error reporting.
Saves your recurring backhaul routes to trigger proactive web notifications when new consignments matching your exact fleet criteria are listed.
Browser Storage Controls & Cache Revocation
