About Us

Moving Southern Africa's Freight, Fairly

Loads For Africa is a South African freight exchange. We connect shippers who have cargo to move with checked hauliers who have trucks to fill, directly and transparently, with payment protection through escrow (Coming soon).

Why we exist

Freight works better when everyone can see the deal

Shippers struggle to find reliable, insured hauliers at a fair price. Hauliers drive home with empty trucks and wait too long to be paid. Middlemen add cost and distance between the two.

We built one place where the two sides deal directly. Every haulier is checked, quotes compete in the open, and payment is protected by escrow (Coming soon), for one fixed fee that anyone can read on our Pricing page.

What we do

A marketplace built on trust

A marketplace for loads

Shippers post loads and compare quotes. Hauliers find work that suits their trucks and routes, and follow every bid in one place.

Checked hauliers

Company documents, Goods-in-Transit insurance and truck licence disks are reviewed by our team, and expired road worthy disks pause a truck.

Protected payments

Escrow (Coming soon) will hold the agreed price until the shipper accepts delivery, then release the full agreed price to the hauler.

What we stand for

Four principles we build by

Transparency

One fixed percentage on each transaction, paid by the shipper and published on our Pricing page. Nothing is deducted from the hauler's price.

Trust

We review the documents that matter, and we say plainly what is live and what is coming soon.

Privacy

Street addresses and contacts are shared only with the shipper and the assigned driver. Documents are kept in private, encrypted storage in South Africa.

Fair to small operators

An owner-driver with one truck gets the same tools as a fleet with a hundred. Size should not decide who can find a load.
